About These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Ford Firewood, whether by phone or email. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Placing an Order

Orders can be placed by calling us on 07432 254013 or by emailing fordfirewood@gmail.com. When you place an order, you will need to provide:

• Your full delivery address
• A contact phone number
• The product type and quantity required
• Any specific delivery instructions

An order is confirmed once we have verbally or in writing agreed to fulfil it. We reserve the right to decline an order if we are unable to service your delivery area or if stock is unavailable.

Pricing

All prices are confirmed at the time of ordering. We will always provide a clear price before you commit to an order. Prices may vary depending on product type, quantity, and delivery location.

We reserve the right to update our prices at any time, but the price agreed at the point of your order will be honoured for that delivery.

Delivery

We offer same-day and next-day delivery across South Wales, subject to availability. Delivery times are estimated and may be affected by weather, traffic, or other factors outside our control. We will contact you if there is a significant delay.

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

• Someone is available to receive the delivery, or clear instructions are provided for an unattended drop
• There is safe and reasonable access to the delivery location
• The delivery address provided is accurate and complete

If we are unable to complete a delivery due to inaccessible premises or incorrect address information provided by the customer, a redelivery charge may apply.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of delivery unless a credit account has been agreed in advance (commercial customers only). We accept cash and bank transfer. Details for bank transfer will be provided on request.

For commercial accounts, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur a charge.

Product Quality

We take pride in the quality of our firewood and aim to supply only properly seasoned or kiln-dried hardwood with a moisture content below 20%. All products are described as accurately as possible.

Natural wood products may vary in size, species mix, and appearance. This is normal and does not constitute a fault.

Returns & Complaints

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery. We will always do our best to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.

Where a product is found to be genuinely faulty or significantly different from what was ordered, we will offer a replacement delivery or a refund at our discretion.

We do not accept returns of firewood that has been stored in poor conditions or otherwise damaged after delivery.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ford Firewood’s liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the value of that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
